Pray

Well I pray to all the heavens

Out there and inside

That all the lonely people

Would have someone tonight

I pray that all the lost and weary 

Find somewhere warm to sleep

And I pray someone would pray for me

And I pray that all the armies

Would lay their guns to rest

And that I won’t need mine either

That my enemies are blessed

I pray that every newborn baby

Has a loving family 

And I pray someone would pray for me

And I pray she may find happiness

The one I used to hold

And that presidents and princes

Bring peace where they will go

And I pray the night would have a light

For those on a long journey

And I pray someone would pray for me
